Bio

Born 12 April 1980 in Leiderdorp | Probably had one of the most succesful careers in Dutch women’s basketball history | Started playing basketball with BC Leiderdorp before joining the basketball team of the University of Valparaiso (USA NCAA Division I) | Played professionally in Spain from 2003-2005 with Delta Basket and Cajas Canarias | Was drafted by the Los Angeles Sparks in 2005 where she played 7 games and averaged 2.3 minutes per game and 0.4 ppg | Moved back to Europe at the end of 2005 to join Phard Napoli in Italy | In 2007 she joined Challes les Eaux Basket in France before moving back to Italy in 2008 to play for Germano Zama Faenza | Decided her journey abroad was over in 2010 when she joined her old club Leiderdorp to lead the team to a national championship in the 2010-2011 season, averaging 16 points and 9 rebounds | Signed with ProBuild Lions in the 2011-2012 season before joining Grasshoppers (2012-2013) and Binnenland (2013-2015) | Resigned with the Lions in 2015 | was a long-standing member of the Dutch national team | Retired in May 2016 after winning her third Dutch Championship and her second with Loon Lions | Stayed with Loon Lions as an assistant-coach to Molly McDowell for the 2016-2017 season

Averaged 9.3 points and 7.4 rebounds | Led the team in rebounding and field goal percentage (44.3%) | Was elected for the All*Star game
